Murphy's Haystacks

On the way to streaky bay we stopped at a place called Murphy's haystacks. These are over 100,000 years old. A farmer went past one day and thought they were stacks of hay. That's how they get their name. This is Callam standing under the curved part the rock. It's scientific name is an inselberg.

South Australian Museum

Today we escaped the Adelaide heat by visiting the Museum. We all enjoyed this learning experience. We were all lucky enough to hold a snake! It is a very hands on museum and I highly recommend a visit if you are in Adelaide. Finny liked the giant squid, Callam liked watching the bees hard at work and Marley liked holding the snake. For tomorrow's 'big write' the kids will write about what they learnt! We finished day 4 off with a swim in the ocean followed by a swim in the pool. Off for a ferry ride tomorrow. Car, trailer and all! Our cheats way to get to Tumby Bay. X

Kitten

Last night mum and I heard a kitten under cabin number 9 at Adelaide shores. Mum removed a brick from under the cabin and that night it came out. In the morning we heard it again and we couldn't find it. Then I found it in a tree and grabbed it out. Mum thought it was a stray cat but it was to cute so we took it up to reception.

The Beach House Day 3 Cont...

Today we went to The Beach House in Glenelg in Adelaide. It was sooo fun! Their were these massive water slides that even my smallest brother went on! They were called The Dual, The Speed and The Raft! We had the time of our lives.

Fringe Festival Day 3

Today at the Rundall Mall in Adelaide there was a performance from a group called Kiki and Pascal! They were sooo funny. They did some magic tricks and added a lot of humor into their performance. I liked the trick where Kiki put her whole body through. a tennis racket.

First stop

Our first in Mildura only one night but it has an amazing pool! On the way I saw some wild emus and kangaroos. Milo and I sat in the car for 8 or more hours it was so boring we're camping on the Murray river and we're about start packing up so we can head off to Adelaide. Bye 😃xoxo

Bike rack

Dad took the bike rack for a test drive and it wasn't successful it was broken after the drive
