Hey everyone. In Coral Bay we did so many amazing things that it's unbelievable. We went snorkeling with our new friends David, Luke and Ben (from TAS) and saw loads of colourful coral and incredible fish. After our snorkel we went stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking and trust me it took a lot of getting used to. We came back from the beach and sang happy birthday to my 6 year old little brother.
We also had a swim with some whale sharks. It was one of the best experiences of life. First we met the nicest crew in the world, Alaina, Jim, Macca, Steve and Hayley. They made the bumpy trip fun. After we got on the boat we travelled out a few 100m and stopped for a snorkel [absolutely amazing]! Then we found a whale shark. The chase was on. It was a rush to get ready but once you were in the water suddenly everything slowed down. The sharks were about the size of a small bus. Then we got on, got off, got on, got off, etc. After we left the whale shark for the last time we had a delicious sandwich lunch on the boat. Then we went for another snorkel and saw a turtle and a stingray. I will never forget that day.
The day before, Callam and dad went fishing and caught 4 yummy fish. Although we are still trying to get through it now. Fish for dinner every night but it taste so yummy I didn't mind.
In Tom Price it was much cooler then I expected. We went down to the gorges in the Karigini National Park. The gorges were majestic. It really blew my mind. I had never seen anything like it before. The view down into the gorge showed red and black cliffs and rock faces. There was green growth of plants like ferns and moss around the swimming holes. Circular pool was perfect. Words can't describe it. It was like seeing a photo on a plastic water bottle but real. When we had a swim the water was cold but refreshing after that long walk to get down there. It was the most gorgeous sight I had ever seen.
The very next day we went on a Rio Tinto Mine tour around the mine sight. There was red dust everywhere. At Rio Tinto they mine iron ore which is a pretty grayish silverish stone. They also used very BIG trucks. They beeped us as they drove past. We had to wear a hard hat and safety goggles which looked a bit silly. Not my best look!
Now where in Broome. Wait till you read my next post camels, markets and even outdoor cinemas!

Monkey Mia
Hi everyone,
Last week I visited Monkey Mia and had an absolutely fantastic time. When we arrived we got there just in time for the dolphin feeding. Luckily I got chosen by one of the volunteers to feed the dolphin called Nicki. Mum said I only got chosen because I was wearing bright colours like her friend told us to do because she had been there before but I think I just got lucky.
Anyway, after that we deiced that we needed to go for a swim because it was stinking hot. When we got in we met some funny emus that deiced to go for a swim because of the same reason as us.
After we got out and dry we jumped o a sailing boat and sailed around to find some sea creatures. We ended up finding more then some.... but it was fine with me until we started following a dugong We ended up sailing for longer than expected and it was soo hot. But we did end up seeing dolphins, stingrays, dugongs, manta rays, sea snakes, turtles, tiger sharks, baby tiger sharks and lots more. We also met some wonderful friends traveling from Brazil that sprayed the hose on us. Thanks guys. I had an amazing and unforgettable day.

Busselton-Fremantle-Perth
This week we have been travelling through Busselton, Fremantle and Perth. We have been going up and down Jettys going to markets and going on river cruises.
In Busselton we went to the Busselton Jetty. It is the longest wooden pile Jetty in the Southern Hemisphere and the second longest in the world. It is 2km long! When we got the end we visited the souvenir shop and then headed down to the underwater observatory. I saw lots of amazing fish and colourful coral. There was a huge school of Herron fish that flashed against the sunlight. I also saw an orange starfish clinging to the pile amongst the coral and the barnacles.
In Freo we went to the markets. At the markets there were clothes stalls, Jewelry stalls, food stalls and my favourite lolly stalls! I bought some scented soap, chocolate coated strawberries and a chocolate filled warm donut. The sugar on the outside stuck to my lips. Delicious! We also saw a koala and a snake.
In Perth we went on a river cruise down the Swan River. It went for 2 1/4 hours but it was so worth it. I saw a huge mansion and some beautiful scenery. We even a dolphin leap out of the water near another cruise boat. I leant that in one of the mansions we saw there was an indoor swimming pool, a cinema and even a bowling alley. When we got back we had a look at the bell tower. It was an aqua colour and it lights up at night. Afterwards we went to the park and got a yummy icecream.
By the way forgot to mention The Old Fremantle Prison that we saw while traveling through Freo.
The prisons best job was in the kitchen and they got payed only $37 a week. This was a good job because it meant that you didn't have stand in the blazing sun in the yard. All day the prisoners had to stay outside in the yard rain, hail or shine. In the prison church the men sat in the pews and the woman stood on the veranda. There was no talking at all allowed. We even saw where people got hung! 123 people got hung in that prison. Only one female. It was amazing and even a little bit scary.
I hope you enjoyed my post.

Pemberton
While I was in Pemberton I had so much fun. At the campsite there were loads of beautiful birds. There were parrots and ducks absolutely everywhere. In the morning we fed the ducks some bread but sometimes they got wildly vicious with each other because they wanted the food for themselves. There was this duck called Pegleg. He got named that because he was born with a broken leg. I felt so sorry for him. One morning the parrots came down and we fed them (as well as the vicious ducks). Dad told us to put the bread on our head so they would eat the bread of our heads and thats exactly what they did. It really hurt. At the end of the experience my hair looked like a birds nest (literally). The parrots never came back though because other families were also feeding them.
I also climbed up an enormous tree called the Gloucester Tree. You had to climb up these steel pegs that the people who built it hammered into the tree. In the olden days it was used as a fire lookout and they only had wooden pegs to put into the tree. It took over 100 steps to climb up the tree but when you got to the top you realised it was so worth it. The view reminded you of the movies where the looked over the tree tops of Africa. It was such an incredible experience to be standing 60 metres above the ground. Dad and Callam climbed the tree with me and Mum stayed on the ground trying hard not to watch. The Gloucester Tree is a Karri tree and can grow up to 90 metres tall. The area of Pemberton has a Karri forest national park. It also has large timber mill. In the olden days they could make a small house out of one tree for the timber mill workers.

Valley Of The Giants
A few days ago we went to a magical place called the Valley Of The Giants. There are walking tracks and a long bridge so you can walk in the tree tops. The trees were called red tingle trees and they were massive. They can grow up to 70m tall. There was lots of different wildlife to see. The bridge was really wobbly and we were really high up. You could even walk through the trunk of the trees. It was amazing. Afterwards we went to a chocolate lounge.
Here are six facts I learnt while I was at the Valley Of The Giants:
1.The trees are over 400 years old.
2.The roots were shallow so you have to stay on the footpaths.
3.Quokas and Quendas are nocturnal and make runnels in the swords grass.
4.People believe that the grandma tree looks over everyone that enters the forest.
5.Some insects eat the insides of the trees to make strange lumps in the tree.
6.They are called tingle trees because
tingle is an aboriginal term for red timber.

Crossing the Nullabor!
This week we've being driving across the Nullabor.
We saw emus and wedge tail eagles! There was a sign for camels and wombats but we didn't see any although we did see camel carcasses.
Dad said it takes to many hours to cross the Nullabor so we had to stop along the way. Our first stop was at the Great Australian Bight. It was beautiful there! The water was deep blue and the water crashed on the edge of the cliff. The cliff was rugged and rough. They are called the Bunda Cliffs. I couldn't believe I was standing on the edge of Australia. The Southern Right Whales came there to breed but we were to early and missed them.
The next place we went to was the Border Village. There wasn't many people there but it sure was nice to get away from everyone. We set up a very simple camp so it would be easy to pack up the next morning. The next morning we quickly packed up and kept driving.
A little down the road we stopped at a sign that said Australia's Longest Road 145.6km, so we drove all the way down Australia's Longest Road. It was soooo boring and there was nothing to do then it started to rain.
We were supposed to stop again but dad said that he's not setting up in this weather. So we drove and drove and drove until we finally got to Esperance. When we got there it was late and there was no where to stay because everywhere was rather full or closed so we found this camp site that had a stop for late arrivers. So that's where I am. We are looking forwArd to exploring Esperance when the sun actually comes out.

Exploring Streaky Bay
While in Streaky Bay we went and explored lots of different places like:
The Whistling Rocks
The Blow Hole
High Cliff
Granite Rocks
We also went down to the Sand dunes where we surfed down them on our boogie boards. It was so fun! We saw lots of funny lizards. They will try to defend themselves if they get scared by sticking their blue tongues out at us and hiss. Their tail looked like its head. I learnt that lots of different plants can live in hot and harsh conditions in the wild.
